ABOUT ME

I work one on one with students to accomplish their goals and help discover a strong, personal practice. Practicing yoga helps with mobility and strength in other areas of our lives. I work with students to help them succeed on and off the mat. I provide online classes in order for students to practice around their already busy schedules. I found yoga 7 years ago and developed a strong connection with the physical practice. I work hard to develop challenging and creative classes that are individualized for my students' needs.

I graduated Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 with RYT200. I am registered and insured through Yoga Alliance. When I am not teaching yoga, I am teaching children in the classroom. I love to hike, rock climb, read, draw and travel!

 "Kaela has been incredibly thoughtful when it comes to this beginner’s practice. I’ve long had issues with flexibility and mobility as the result of a combination of injuries and different sports. She listened, actively thought about what I needed, and developed flows to help me with both acute and chronic problem areas within my body. Many of my outdoor pursuits are taxing mentally, and because Kaela chooses to focus intently on mindfulness and the mental aspect of yoga, I’ve noticed a substantial crossover in how I’m able to positively deal with mental as well as physical stress outside of yoga."

"I am new to yoga and have only done basic mobility/stretching. I train in Olympic weightlifting, so stability and mobility are two major factors for me. Kaela has taken this into great consideration when creating flows for me to complete. Before we start a session, she directly asks me if anything has been bothering me or if I am experiencing any tightness in specific muscle groups. She then works a flow around those major issues while still focusing on different areas that may be contributing to the problem. As I am new to this, she ensured that I would be able to complete each position safely and knew when to introduce new and challenging ones. When working through the flow, she communicates very well to catch any discomfort I may be feeling and is able to improvise and adapt on the fly. I have attended individual classes as well as group classes and it is always a pleasure! I have gained significant confidence in my ability to complete flows now!"
